UniLIGHT BEC Module 8A/8V MODUL-BEC8-8V
BEC Module up to 5A constant current, 8A peak current
Our BEC module (Battery Elimination Circuit) has been specifically developed for use with uniLIGHT.at lighting systems, offering high performance in an extremely compact design.
The module generates the required stable output voltage directly from a drive battery (up to 28V / 6S).
Two versions are available:
The 8V / 2S version is intended for standard lighting systems.
The 12V / 3S version is designed for glider ACL applications.
The module is simply connected to the battery, allowing the lighting system to be operated directly from the output. Thanks to the galvanic isolation of uniLIGHT controllers, interference within the receiver system is prevented. However, compared to using a dedicated battery, wiring, motor operation, and the ESC may still introduce minor influences. Lighting systems with up to 5A continuous current and 8A peak current can be operated.
Additionally, the BEC module provides further adjustment options via small switches located on the side.
FULL Switch
Provides the full / maximum output voltage of 8.4V for standard lighting systems or 13V for glider ACL systems.
REDUCED - HIGH/LOW Switch
Reduces the output voltage to slightly/significantly dim the lighting system. This helps prevent glare during dusk operation or allows continuous operation at exhibitions without overheating.
