UniLight 5mm HIGH DEFF LED SET POINT-003-SET
High-performance 5mm-LED Set
These small LEDs have an enormous luminosity with a relatively wide beam angle and represent today's highest technical efficiency for these LED types. The luminaire gets hardly hot, it only needs a few milliamperes and is ideal for use in smaller models like helicopters and Styrofoam models (up to about 1m). It's also suitable for night flights.
The set contains:
1x RED + 1x GREEN for Position light
1x RED for Beacon light
2x WHITE for ACL Flashlights or Landing light
Resistor for 6-12V operation
3m connection cable
Insulation material
Electricity: 0.3W reference power, 8/12V, 5x0.03A
Beam angle: 18-25°
Light intensity: ca. 2-4 Lumen
Dimension: D5x10mm (without cable)
Weight: 1g (without cable)
The reference power is a comparison value between our offered lights. It normally refers to an operating voltage of 12V/3S LiPo and is dependent on bulbs, operating mode and technology.
The luminaire is ready to use for operation with 2S LiPo (ca. 8V). With 3S (12V), the enclosed resistor has to be added. Please note that high-performance LEDs can get very hot, up to 70°C is quite normal. These lamps with heatsink cases are suitable for continuous operation if an air flow (during flight) is possible. If this is not the case, the duty cycle of 5-10 minutes should not be exceeded. Pay always attention to the operating temperature, we do not assume any warranty in case of overheating.
Note: The LED lights are extremely bright! Never look directly into a LED!
