Description
SM MODELL BAU UniSens-E RC Telemetry Sensor 140 A / XT90 Serial Connector Version SM3109
With the small, powerful RC telemetry sensor , voltage, current, altitude, vario, power, capacity and speed can be measured in one model and transmitted to the transmitter via telemetry . Full support for the telemetry of Jeti Duplex , Multiplex M-Link , Graupner HoTT , Futaba , JR DMSS , FrSky , Spektrum (via spectrum adapter) and PowerBox Core
Connector Fitted XT90 Version
The small, powerful RC telemetry sensor measures and transmits voltage, current, power, capacity, energy, altitude, and variometer data.
The UniSens-E is a dedicated telemetry sensor specifically designed for all electric models. Its small size and light weight, combined with its powerful performance, allow it to be used in almost any model.
In keeping with our philosophy of supporting as many systems as possible, the UniSens-E is compatible with Jeti Duplex, Multiplex M-Link, Graupner HoTT, Futaba, JR DMSS, FrSky, Spektrum (via Spektrum adapter), and PowerBox Core.
The telemetry system used only needs to be configured once in the UniSens-E settings. This can be done either using our PC program "UniSens-E Tool" or with the UniDisplay. HoTT GAM is selected by default.
To change the settings via PC or for firmware updates, a suitable USB interface, such as our part number 2550, or an existing USB connection cable from Jeti, Multiplex, or Graupner is required. See the instructions for details.
Without additional sensors, the UniSens-E can measure the entire drive system, including voltage, current, and capacity.
Since a high-resolution barometric (air pressure) altitude sensor is also integrated, the UniSens-E effectively functions as a variometer in addition to altitude measurement.
Extensive alarms can also be programmed and reported via telemetry to the respective transmitter.
The UniSens-E is available with various connector systems, so soldering is usually unnecessary. The current measurement range is symmetrical in both directions. Therefore, the connector pinout (i.e., whether the battery has a male or female connector on the positive terminal) is irrelevant. The measurement direction is simply set in the setup.
All UniSens-E measurements can be viewed live via our UniDisplay, and all settings and alarms can be programmed.
Whether glider, aerobatic aircraft, helicopter, HLG, or slow flyer, the UniSens-E's light weight and compact size make it suitable for almost any application. Of course, the UniSens-E isn't just for model airplanes. It can also be installed in RC boats, RC cars, and more.
With the UniSens-E, you're acquiring a high-performance, universal RC telemetry sensor that utilizes the capabilities of modern electronics to be a valuable tool for handling your RC models.
And this is what the UniSens-E can do:
- Complete measurement of electric drives including current, voltage, power, capacity, speed and height measurements
- Integrated brushless speed sensor (not available on 55 A versions)
- Full telemetry support for Jeti Duplex, Multiplex M-Link, Graupner HoTT, Futaba, JR DMSS, FrSky, Spektrum (via Spektrum adapter) and PowerBox Core
- Altitude measurement with automatic zeroing after switching on
- barometric variometer
-
Current measuring range depending on the version up to 55 A / 140 A / 280 A in both directions, voltage up to 60 V
(but the maximum current rating of the plugs used must not be exceeded!) - Connection for receiver signal for remote control of certain functions
- Direct connection to the GPS logger is possible for data recording in a file.
- Measurement of receiver battery voltage
- Power supply via receiver
- Current status is indicated via LED.
- Direct viewing of the measured values live with our UniDisplay
- Parameter settings possible via PC, UniDisplay and telemetry
- PC software for settings and updates (SM UniSens-E Tool) is available here.
- Free firmware updates are possible via PC using our USB interface (Order No. 2550) or with existing USB connection cables such as those from Jeti, Multiplex or Graupner (the firmware file can be found here).
- Due to its compact size and low weight, it can be used almost anywhere.
For technical specifications and the complete range of functions, please refer to the operating instructions.
