Safety Information
Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for safe installation and operation of the ESC. Ensure all connections are secure and insulated to prevent short circuits. Monitor the ESC temperature during use, especially in high-power applications. Avoid exceeding the specified voltage and current ratings to prevent damage. Dispose of electronic components responsibly according to local regulations.
Please Note
Our XP2 range of speed controllers is mainly designed for use in model aircraft, and therefore, although they can be programmed to go in reverse, the user cannot switch between the two directions (forwards and reverse) whilst the ESC is in operation. For use in a boat, where the option to quickly switch between directions is often required, it is recommended to purchase a proper marine ESC.
Top Tip
Manufacturers recommend limiting the number of servos to 1 servo per 1A of BEC. At Overlander, we suggest considering a separate receiver battery pack or an updated UBEC when using 4 servos or more.
