Various filling methods/algorithms can be selected:
"Normal Tank" (automatic filling program):
Optimized filling algorithm for any combination, including multiple "normal" tanks connected in series. Ideally, filling is carried out using one fill line and one return line to the fuel container. The return line ensures reliable "tank full" detection in all cases. However, filling with only one line and no return is also possible. In this case, "tank full" detection occurs as soon as fuel flows into the overflow (detection of the pressure increase in the tank system).
"Bladder Tank" (automatic filling program):
Special filling algorithm for bladder tanks that are filled via a single filling line. Intelligent "tank full" detection and automatic decompression of the bladder tank. Air bubbles are automatically detected and removed, if necessary, by repeatedly pulling back the nozzle.
"Dosing mode" for defined filling or emptying of an adjustable quantity.
This mode can also be used, for example, for targeted dosing/dispensing of programmable quantities.
"Manual mode with AutoStop" starts the pump directly in forward or reverse.
If a "tank full" signal is detected via the integrated sensors, the pump stops automatically. Similarly, the pump stops automatically during refueling as soon as the tank is empty (no more fuel flow).
"Manual mode without AutoStop":
The pump runs continuously, forwards or backwards, until the "Stop" button is pressed. For all automatic filling programs, a programmable quantity (ml) can optionally be dispensed from the tank at the end of the filling process. This can be used, for example, to reduce or adjust the overall weight of the model.
- Fully automatic filling or emptying of the model's fuel tanks. Only a single button press is required; the entire refueling/emptying process then takes place fully automatically! The pump always switches off automatically at the end of the refueling process.
- Integrated flow meter for precise measurement and display of the filled or emptied volume. At the end of the filling/emptying process, the amount filled or emptied in ml, as well as the filling time, is always displayed. If the filling station switches itself off after filling (after an adjustable inactivity period), the last filled quantity/action will be displayed the next time it is switched on!
- Optical flow detectors for detecting fuel flow/presence on the refueling and fuel return/overflow lines!
- Intelligent "tank full" detection via the optical detectors on the fuel return line and/or the integrated flow meter when only a single refueling hose without a return line is used (change in volume flow).
- Enables a hermetically sealed, fully automatic refueling process where no fuel can escape from the model onto the ground/environment, as the fuel overflow can be routed back to the refueling station. Ideally used in conjunction with the "EZ-Fueler" tank filling valve. Alternatively, the return hose can be connected to the tank overflow in another way.
- Automatic shut-off when the fuel container is empty or in case of imminent overflow of the fuel container (e.g. when emptying large quantities into almost full canisters)
- Automatic shut-off if the refueling hose unintentionally "falls off" or is disconnected during the filling process.
- Protection system to prevent the fuel tank from bursting if the tank overflow has not been opened.
- Display of remaining fuel volume in the fuel container
- Suitable for all conceivable model-specific tank systems, especially for pouch tanks with automatic venting of the pouch tank, as well as automatic or adjustable decompression of the tank system at the end of the refueling process.
- Automatic shutdown (auto-power-down, time adjustable) if the system has not been used for a programmable time.
- Automatic power-off when the supply battery is empty (battery protection function).
- Statistics menu to display: number of refueling operations, total volume pumped, etc.
- Calibration option for the internal flow meter by the user.
- 2-line backlit LCD display, membrane keyboard with 7 keys.
- MPX input for 8-18V power supply battery (3s LiPo recommended); battery is attached with Velcro strap below the fuel station. Battery type is adjustable.
- Data connector for free firmware updates via the internet

Freely programmable system with 20 model memories (=fill programs). The tank system can be individually programmed/preset for each memory location, e.g.:
- Model name (plain text)
- Type of fuel tank ("normal" tank or bladder tank)
- Refueling speed (pump output)
- Withdrawal amount at the end of the refueling process
- Optional "draining volume" (for removing/facilitating a
- (Defined quantity after the tank has been completely filled)
- Decompression factor for bladder tanks (Defines how "full" the bladder tank should be)
- Maximum or dosing volume (safety shutdown)
- Using the fuel return line On/Off (1- or 2-hose mode)
- Two rotatable Festo-L quick connectors each for fuel inlet/venting, refueling outlet and return.
