It's capable of smooth and predictable sport flying, along with performing basic to aggressive and even “pattern-like” precision aerobatics. The convenient size makes it easy to store, transport, and fly at a variety of large parks and sports fields to RC flying fields – yet it's still large enough to be easy to see and to fly well in the wind – especially the BNF Basic version that's equipped with enhanced AS3X+ technology that smooths out the effects of wind and turbulence better than ever before. That version is also equipped with optional-use SAFE Select technology that makes it even easier to fly, and both versions include Spektrum digital, metal-geared servos, a 45A Smart Lite ESC, plus a 3S and 4S compatible motor!

Skill Level 3 – Experience Required
Skill Level 3 aircraft, like this one, are suitable for more experienced RC pilots who already have the skills to assemble, set up, and fly similar class models. This PNP version requires more experience and skills to assemble and fly than the BNF Basic version because you will need to install a receiver that does not already include properly tuned AS3X+ and SAFE Select technologies. You should have the experience and skills necessary to assemble and successfully fly models like the E-flite T-28 Trojan 1.1m, Valiant 1.3m, Turbo Timber Evolution 1.5m or other similar class models before attempting to fly the Sportix 1.1m PNP version.
