Functional features include shock-absorbing landing gear and wheels specifically designed to make it easier to land, along with a steerable tailwheel. The one-piece wing includes hands-free connections, yet the Gee Bee 1.0m is sized to be easy to store and transport without disassembly. Skill Level 3 – Experience Required
Skill Level 3 aircraft, like this one, are suitable for more experienced RC pilots who already have the skills to assemble, set up, and fly similar class models. This PNP version requires more experience and skills to assemble and fly than the BNF Basic version because you will need to install a receiver that does not already include properly tuned AS3X+ and SAFE Select technologies. You should have the experience and skills necessary to assemble and successfully fly models like the E-flite T-28 Trojan 1.1m, Sportix 1.1m, Commander mPd 1.4m, or other similar class models before attempting to fly the Gee Bee R-2 1.0m PNP version.
