It's available in both an ARF and a first-ever BNF Basic version that bolts together in almost no time compared to other similar class ARF and PNP models.

E-flite Eratix 3D SWS 1.6m (64") RC Plane Introduction
The E-flite® Eratix 3D FF (Flat Foamy) 860mm took the market by storm by being the most convenient, easiest to assemble, and fly "flat foamy" model in its class. Now the Eratix 3D SWS (Sport Wood Series) 1.6m (64") offers those same benefits along with the advantages of lightweight, stiff, and strong wood construction to deliver excellent flight performance plus convenience and value unlike similar class models. It's the first-ever wood-built and fully 3D capable model of its size available in a BNF Basic version - that assembles quickly and easily without any glue - equipped with factory-installed high voltage digital and metal-geared servos, a 6S compatible Spektrum Avian motor and Smart ESC, plus a 6-channel receiver with AS3X+ and SAFE Select technologies. It's also available in an ARF version that's ready for installation of your preferred power system and electronics.
E-flite Eratix 3D SWS 1.6m (64") RC Plane Overview
The E-flite® Eratix 3D Sport Wood Series (SWS) 1.6m (64") offers the aggressive aerobatic plus smooth sport flying performance of similar models - without all the hassles of building one! The BNF Basic version assembles without glue and can be ready to fly in less time compared to the many hours it usually takes to construct other models in its class. It's based on the design of the "flat foamy" Eratix but features strong, stiff, and lightweight built-up wood construction. The balsa and plywood airframe with carbon fibre reinforcement throughout arrives factory-finished with genuine UltraCoteT film covering. The BNF Basic version arrives mostly factory-assembled, so you can have it flying in almost no time - without glue or special tools. A two-piece wing that installs without fasteners and tools makes it easier to store and transport. Plus, you can install the included and optional-use Side Force Generators (SFGs) for even better aerobatic capabilities.
The BNF (Bind-N-Fly) Basic version features four factory-installed high-voltage digital and metal-geared Spektrum servos, a 6S-compatible Avian 5055-500Kv outrunner motor, and a 100-amp Smart ESC that provides a variety of power system-related telemetry data with both Smart and non-Smart batteries via compatible Spektrum AirWare-equipped transmitters. This version is also equipped with an AR637TA+ receiver that provides full-range, real-time telemetry data, including overall battery voltage, current draw, ESC temp, and more, plus motor reversing for special ground handling and other capabilities. It also features the benefits of enhanced AS3X+ that's been specifically tuned for 3D/XA (eXtreme Aerobatic) performance without compromising feel, along with optional-use SAFE Select technology. The ARF (Almost-Ready-To-Fly) version is ready for you to install the electronics and power system you prefer.
Both versions feature carbon fibre landing gear with optional-use wheel pants, and a large and top-mounted canopy hatch for easy access to the battery compartment. They're also equipped with pin hinges for the ailerons, along with captured pin hinges for the elevator and rudder for easy and glue-free control surface installation or replacement. Skill Level 3 – Experience Required
Skill Level 3 aircraft, like this one, are suitable for more experienced RC pilots who already have the skills to assemble, set up and fly similar class models. This ARF version requires more experience and skills to assemble and fly than the BNF® Basic version because you will need to select and install a suitable power system, servos, and a receiver that does not already include properly tuned AS3X+® and SAFE® Select technologies. You should have the experience and skills necessary to successfully fly models like the E-flite Eratix 3D FF (Flat Foamy) 860mm, Sportix 1.1m, Timber X 1.2m, Extra 330 SC 3D 1.3m, or other similar class models before attempting to fly the ARF version Eratix 3D SWS 1.6m (64").
Wood Airframe
The built-up balsa and lite-ply airframe with carbon fibre reinforcement throughout is lightweight yet stiff and strong to provide a unique and enhanced flying experience compared to foam models. Best of all it arrives mostly factory-assembled and finished in genuine UltraCote® film covering. In the unfortunate event you damage any airframe parts or components and can’t repair them, a full line of replacement/spare parts is readily available.
Wide Flight Envelope
Like other similar class models, the Eratix 3D SWS is capable of slow cruising, smooth sport flying, basic aerobatics, and even aggressive 3D flying - all in the same flight! It offers a truly "mild to wild" flight experience that intermediate to experienced pilots will appreciate and enjoy.
Almost-Ready-To-Fly Flexibility
This Almost-Ready-To-Fly (ARF) version arrives mostly factory-assembled and ready to install the motor, ESC, servos, and receiver you prefer (all sold separately).
