Smoke EL G-Force Duo Electric 12S - 14s Twin Smoke Generating System Ideal For Wing Tip Fitment
The Smoke EL Duo is a microprocessor controlled smoke generating system that is lightweight, robust and can provide huge volumes of outdoor smoke for aircraft displays.
This smoke device’s GF-SmokeDriver is equipped with a 3-axis MEMS sensor which measures the force perpendicular to the plane’s wing.
The G-Force that acts on the model in tight curves or loopings will automatically activate the smoke device and in turn deactivate it once the force is no longer active. Thus you can imitate a real jet’s wake turbulence.
The force that is necessary to activate the smoke device is configurable. The sensor can be adjusted from 2 – 7g (1g is the acceleration through the earth’s gravitation at the earth’s surface. 1g = 9.81m/s).
Another exciting detail of this smoke device is its optional magnetic valve. With this valve you can reroute the smoke-oil from the original smoke pipes to the thrust tubes behind the turbines. Similar to a conventional smoke device you can now produce smoke via the turbines. With one central tank and only one SmokePump you therefore have one smoke device in one. Moreover, you will still only need one control channel to operate the smoke device.
The magnetic valve can be purchased separately as an accessory. Please connect the valve to the connection labeled “valve.”
The Smoke EL system consists of a basic G-Force unit, smoke pump and heating tubes to provide switchable smoke for your model through the strategically placed heating tubes. These can be mounted on the aircraft center line, on the wing tips, under the cowling exhaust or other places to create the effect you want.
The Smoke EL starter set includes everything you need (except the oil tank) to launch your experience with our Smoke EL products; batteries are optional.
The Smoke EL Duo should be mounted on the wings, either underneath or at the tip.
The capacity of the 6S1P Lipo cell Batteries (as option included) is 1600mAh and can produce approximately 90 seconds of smoke but larger can be used.
For 90 seconds, the tank should hold approx 150ml RedOil.
A 6s to 10s system is also available to save the need for a separate battery.
