Who are we?

As from December 2012,
 
Nexus Modelling Supplies is based in Northampton, providing a mail order service through the website, by telephone and visiting by appointment. Nexus has always been known as a Model Show Company and we will also be attending all the major shows.

Nexus has a great pedigree, having been founded over twenty years ago. It's always been run by enthusiasts, so you know you are getting the best  service there is... because we 'know' modelling.
 
What do we offer?
 
With a growing stock range, new growing show stands and this website we hope to cater for all your modelling needs.  In the event that we don't have stock on the shelf that day, we can source it for you. We have relationships with most of the suppliers across the UK and Europe so try us and be supprised at the fantastic deals we can do for you.
 
If you cant see it or touch it, please dont think we dont sell it. Ask us you never know what we are working on next!
 
Also sadly as we all know in this hard economic climate we are all losing some of our local model shops. We hope to help all our nexus customers with that old fashoned service of advice, hints and tips across most modelling areas.
 
The team at nexus have experienced a vast part of our fantastic hobby and can offer a wealth of knowledge and advice. 
 
 

2013 / 2014 Update 

Well for those of you that are already customers. Thank you. And if you have just found this Nexus Models site. Welcome.

The last few years have been really exciting for us, watching the company grow beyond our greatest expectation led by our customer’s shopping requests.

Nexus Models had a weakness in the Electric part of the hobby but we fixed that with the purchase of www.Electriflyer.co.uk at the end of 2013, allowing us to offer a fantastic range of quality affordable Lipo Batteries, Chargers, Adaptors & Connectors + all those bits that just make life easy.

If you have seen the show stands grow or have visited the shop in Northampton you will have seen an amazing range of modelling accessories that keeps growing.

To make us smile even more we have been able to build relationships with many world & European companies opening up a whole new modelling world for us.

From a simple quality clevis to an Aviation Design Model

 

2015 Update 

After an amazing winters business its show time again. We have been working hard on the new Nexus website which is working really well but sadly is still thousands of products short so if you cant find the item your after or the price looks wrong please contact us on 01604 627616 and I am sure we can help.

We have added so many companies to our range we could never list them all but this is just a few. 

Comp ARF Models, ZN Line, Sebart, Xicoy, Emcotec, DA, DLE, Saito, OS, FCT and many more.

 

As you will have seen over the summer our show stand just keep growing with the biggest our amazing shop in a feild at the BMFA Nationals. At 18m (60 foot) x 9m (30 feet) Marquee, this was the largest stand we have ever had and we are pleased to say we filled it with stock and customers. Thank you to all that came to see us at the shop & shows.

Also we were lucky enough to be able to fly our Aviation Design Diamond at most of the shows during the summer including the BMFA Nationals Show line which was a great honour.

We also had time to make it to a few club talks where we tried to help fellow modellers understand batteries & charging systems plus a Q&A which was fun.

Now for a winter of working on the website and growing our stock ranges ready for 2016.

 

2016 Update

Our new website went live over xmas and after a few small problems it is starting to preform well. This is enabling us to add stock daily but please remember if you cant see it or find it please ask as we are only a email or phone call away.

The shop is fully open and we are getting customer from far and wide due to the fantastic range  of stock we now carry. Please try and pop in.
